Donald Trump “understands” that the Ukraine war “is lost by Ukraine and the West,” Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov claimed, setting him apart from “belligerent” European leaders.
Alipov was scathing in his criticism of Europe, calling their hopes for a Ukrainian victory “childish,” “unprofessional,” and “craziness.”
“There is no chance” of a Russian defeat, he insisted at an event in Gurugram.
The foundation for his certainty, he explained, is Russia’s nuclear arsenal, which makes it impossible to “take over” the country.
He also cited Russia’s official military doctrine, which allows for nuclear use in the event of an “existential threat,” as the policy backing his claim.
