In a recent diplomatic engagement, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, welcomed Uzbekistan’s Minister of Defence, Lieutenant-General Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov, and his delegation to Doha. The meeting, which took place on Thursday, focused on regional security matters and the enhancement of military collaboration between the two countries.
Amidst the current geopolitical landscape, the discussions centered on reviewing the latest developments and security situations in the region. Both leaders explored ways to strengthen their military ties and improve joint coordination efforts, recognizing the importance of cooperation in addressing shared security challenges.
